All Mountain Huts on Yoshida Trail in Mt. Fuji will be closed during the 2020 season. May 1st, 2020 (Updated May 27, 2020)
The Yoshida trail will totally be closed during all summer season in 2020.

You cannot climb Mt. Fuji this summer because the Yamanashi prefecture government decided to close all the trail from the bottom of the mountain to the top. No huts will be open.

Under the current state of emergency, the local government requested us to refrain from opening the huts this summer to avoid spreading Covid-19.
The union of the mountain huts on the Yoshida trail have decided to follow the request and all the huts will be closed during the 2020 summer season.
The first aid center in the 8th station will also be closed.

The closure of the trail has published on the Mt.Fuji climbing official website.
